As a special feature of this year’s M-DCC Symposium & Business Leaders Luncheon, we have added the Swim With The Sharks pitch contest! The contest was designed as a fast-paced, fun event to help early-stage entrepreneurs gain valuable exposure and feedback on their business idea and win cash prizes.

COST
If selected as a contestant, the entry fee to pitch is $150 for M-DCC Members and $200 for non-MDCC Members. All pitch contestants will receive (1) ticket to the 2020 Symposium and Business Leaders Luncheon, where the contest will take place.

DETAILS
Only seven (7) entries accepted
All entries accepted will receive 2 pitch boot camp sessions
(Boot camps will take place on Thurs 3/12 and Thurs 3/19 from 5 PM - 7 PM)
+ 1st Place winner will receive Legal, accounting and marketing Consultation (1) hour each
All winners will receive an M-DCC Small Business Membership (complimentary for 1 year)

PITCH CONTEST APPLICATION
DEADLINE is MARCH 9
To enter, your business must be registered in Miami-Dade County, greater than one (1) year old, and reported less than $50K in 2018 earnings.
After submitting your application, you will receive an email on March 9th telling you the results of your application. If selected as a contestant, you will pay the entrance fee ($150 for Members and $200 for Non-Members). receive. Please complete the application below to be considered as a contestant.
We are looking for fresh and creative ideas that solve a real problem, or satisfy a real need in the Miami-Dade market. Ideas may have a social purpose but scalable and based on a for-profit business model and ready to grow with additional resources added.
